Our Siebel and Siebel Reports courses can be delivered for Siebel 7.8 or Siebel 8.0. The Analytics / OBIEE courses can be delivered for current and recent versions of Siebel Analytics, and OBIEE either standalone or with an Analytical Application.
Siebel Configuration Masterclass
Duration: 5 days
Prerequisites: Knowledge of Siebel Tools to the level taught in the Siebel University Core Consulting / Siebel Essentials course. Some practical experience is useful.
Description: The course aims to build on basic Siebel knowledge to produce a configurator with the ability to implement advanced Siebel applications, with in-depth knowledge of complex subject matters. By the end of the course, not only will delegates be comfortable with configuring complex functionality, but they will have a full understanding of the underlying concepts so that they will be able to quickly extend their own knowledge in the future. The majority of the course is hands on, with exercises that are designed to be progressively more difficult and designed in such a way that a true understanding is needed in order to succeed.

Siebel Advanced Server Masterclass
Duration: 4 days
Prerequisites: Solid Siebel client development skills to the level of the Siebel Configuration Masterclass.
Description: This course focuses on the methods available to integrate Siebel with external systems and the skills to create workflow processes. Upon completion of the course, delegates will have a thorough understanding of advanced subject areas within a Siebel application, and will have the ability to produce an application based on any requirements. The course is practical, with exercises that are designed to give delegates a thorough understanding of integration techniques and the ability to produce workflows within the Siebel environment.

Siebel Configuration Management Overview
Duration: 2 days
Prerequisites: None.
Description: The objective is to give experienced IT professionals, with little or no prior Siebel knowledge, an extensive insight into the different components that comprise the Siebel development environment. The course is largely based upon exercises, which upon completion will give delegates a clear understanding of the Siebel architecture. This course is mainly intended for managers who will be in charge of a Siebel implementation but are unlikely to be carrying out configuration on a day-to-day basis.

Siebel SmartScript Masterclass
Duration: 1 day
Prerequisites: Good Siebel configuration skills and good Siebel VB or eScript knowledge.
Description: SmartScripts are a difficult area of Siebel to master and the aim of this course is to take configurators with proven Siebel Configuration and VB / eScript skills and give them the knowledge required to produce a wide range of SmartScripts. The course will cover very advanced techniques, which will be passed on to delegates through a variety of structured exercises that require a thorough understanding of the subject area.

Siebel Analytics/Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Dashboard Masterclass
Duration: 2 Days
Prerequisites: None, although an application development background is an advantage in the later sections of the course.
Description: This course is aimed at technical and non-technical candidates, who require the knowledge to build requests and dashboards using Siebel Analytics / OBIEE web components. By the end of the course, delegates will be very confident with creating complex and advanced requests with the Siebel Analytics / OBIEE front end application, and combining these requests into dashboards. They will also have an excellent understanding of the administration of the application, and how to customise the look and feel.

Prerequisites: Knowledge of basic data warehouse design principles and in-depth business intelligence experience is advised.
Description: This course aims to provide delegates with a strong set of skills to configure the Siebel Analytics / OBIEE Repository.
By the end of the course delegates will be able to create new subject areas, facts and dimensions in the Siebel Analytics / OBIEE Repository, as well as provide users with access to new calculated measures and data sources. They will develop a solid understanding of security and visibility within a Siebel Analytics / OBIEE application and will learn advanced techniques applicable to real-world analytics applications. Delegates will also discover best practice and design principles.

Siebel Analytics/Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition ETL Masterclass

Prerequisites: Delegates are expected to have a working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Knowledge and experience of the relevant source application, data warehouse design, dimensional modelling and business intelligence would be an advantage.
Description: : This course will provide delegates with the necessary skills to install, develop, run, maintain and troubleshoot an analytical application data warehouse and its Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes.
Delegates will have a thorough understanding to the Informatica tool, and the data warehouse administration Console (DAC). After analysing the vanilla processes and mappings provided by Oracle, delegates will learn to customise and create their own.

Siebel Reports Basics
Duration: 2 Days
Prerequisites: Knowledge of Siebel Tools to the level taught in the Siebel University Core Consulting / Siebel Essentials course or the Customer Systems Siebel Configuration Masterclass. No prior knowledge of the Actuate Report Writer is assumed.
Description: This course provides an introduction to Actuate reporting in the Siebel environment. At the end of this course delegates will be able to define and create new Siebel Actuate reports and modify the standard Reports included with Siebel. All of the common reporting structures are covered: simple lists, master/detail reports, conditional reports and graphs. The course will also introduce the delegate to building component libraries that can be used to reduce development time.

Siebel Actuate Masterclass
Duration: 4 Days
Prerequisites: Knowledge of developing Actuate Reports in a Siebel environment to the level of the Siebel University Creating Reports course or the Customer Systems "Siebel Reports Basics" course.
Description: The aim of the Siebel Actuate Masterclass is to equip delegates with the advanced techniques used by professional Actuate report developers to generate complex (but commonly required) report designs. Particular attention is paid to modifying the datastream components generated by Siebel Tools in order to meet any data requirement, using Actuate Basic to customise report behaviour and advanced report structures such as combined data rows. The techniques covered in this course should allow the developer to meet almost any reporting requirement.
